During Creativeworld in Frankfurt, the Creative Impulse Awards 2026 were presented. This international industry award recognises innovative and distinctive products within the creative sector. Two products from our assortment were among this year’s winners.

addiCraSySnake Lace – Product of the Year

The addiCraSySnake Lace double-pointed needles have been named Product of the Year. The expert jury praised the combination of ergonomics, functionality and forward-thinking design.

These innovative needles from addi feature a distinctive, gently waved shape that ensures a particularly comfortable knitting experience. Scheepjes Kindsome achieved an impressive second place in the Sustainable Product of the Year category.

This innovative yarn is the first in the world to incorporate compostable polyester. The blend of 60% wool and 40% compostable polyester makes Kindsome a conscious and forward-looking choice. Exceptionally soft to the touch, it is particularly suitable for baby and children’s projects such as garments, blankets and soft toys.
