Monk’s cloth is the ideal punching fabric. This coarsely woven fabric is made from 100% cotton in a neutral colour. Oxford’s Monk’s cloth has a white line every 5cm (2 inches), which helps you position your pattern straight in the frame and to stretch the fabric evenly in the frame. The soft fabric is very durable and robust and guarantees hours of comfortable punching. The square and rectangular pieces have edges that are finished with a lock stitch, so that the fabric does not fray and you can get started right away.
