Tulip Kogin needles - 1x4pcs
Tulip’s sewing needles are made in the Japanese city of Hiroshima. Each needle goes through over 30 steps in the production process, resulting in beautiful, high-quality needles that are safe to use. The sewing needles are made from nickel-plated steel. The special surface finish gives you strong needles that glide smoothly through the fabric. The sewing needles have a perfectly shaped and finished eye, which prevents your thread from breaking. The carefully designed needle tip enables you to make neat stitches.
Tulip's kogin needles are especially suited for kogin, a Japanese embroidery technique similar to Sashiko. Unlike Sashiko embroidery however, kogin involves working with straight stitches following a counted pattern. By counting the spaces in the fabric weave, you create geometric patterns. Traditionally, kogin embroidery was intended to make clothing thicker and warmer. Tulip's kogin needles have a rounded tip and are 1.14mm wide and 65mm long. Each pack contains 4 needles, which are supplied in a transparent tube with a cork stopper, and are packed inside a cardboard box. Supplied per 1 pack.
